Three things the card tells you that a list cannot.

The permission is the start of it. What makes the call worth making is what the other records say about the company holding it, 13 of them read together.

  1. The capacity in megawatts and the date the window opens, so you know whether it is this year's pipeline or the next.
  2. The project company, the developer behind it, and whether that developer has built anything before.
  3. Whether finance is already secured against the project, which tells you if the build is funded.

How is this different from a list of battery storage projects?
A list includes every project that has been proposed, most of which will never be built. A card is a project that has just committed to a date, which is the one fact that separates a real procurement from a hopeful one.
Do you name the EPC if one is appointed?
Where it is on the record, yes. More often it is not yet, and the card says so, because an unlet project is exactly the one worth calling about.
