Truck and trailer sales leads, UK

The operators about to need more vehicles.

A haulier cannot quietly double its fleet. Before a single truck is ordered, the permission to run it has to be granted, and that permission is dated, counted and public. The order comes after, and so, usually, does the dealer who hears about it last.

Midlands haulier cleared for 18 more vehicles

  • Authorised vehicles rise from 24 to 42; trailers from 31 to 55.
  • Granted 14 September 2026, with no phased condition attached.
  • Two operating centres, one of them added at the same time.
  • Last accounts: turnover up 31%, nothing registered against the assets.

Eighteen vehicles and twenty-four trailers of headroom, on a site that has just been added, at a company with nothing on its assets to refinance. This is a purchase, not a renewal.

What puts a card here
An operator is cleared to run more vehicles or trailers than it currently holds.
When the money moves
Most of the money is committed inside three months of the clearance.
You sell
new and used vehicles, trailers, bodies, tyres, parts, remarketing

Three things the card tells you that a list cannot.

The permission is the start of it. What makes the call worth making is what the other records say about the company holding it, 13 of them read together.

  1. The count before and the count after, so you size the order instead of guessing at it.
  2. Whether the operator runs its own workshop, which decides whether you are selling a vehicle or a vehicle and its maintenance.
  3. What the last accounts say about cash, so you know whether to lead with a price or with a payment.

Who reads this one.

  • Truck, van and trailer dealers
  • Bodybuilders and conversions
  • Tyres, parts and workshop equipment
  • Rental and contract hire
  • Remarketing and disposals

Questions about this one.

Do you tell me what make or type of vehicle they will buy?
No, and we would be guessing if we did. We tell you how many vehicles and trailers, where, and what the company can afford. What it runs today is the first question on your call.
Is this useful for used vehicle dealers as well as new?
Often more so. A small operator growing from six to ten vehicles on thin accounts is far more likely to buy used, and the card tells you which kind of operator you are looking at.
